A warm welcome,
from generation to generation.

Founded in 1789, this inn has been run from father to son for more than a hundred years. Aged timber, red shutters and a golden sign give it its character. Throughout the seasons, locals and visitors come together here to eat, stay and share good times.

Our kitchen favours regional produce and homemade dishes. We care for our guests and our surroundings, with energy-saving equipment and sparkling water produced on site.

A new chapter · 11 April 2027

A page is turning
at Auberge de la Poste.

Dear guests and friends,

At the end of the winter season, on 11 April 2027, Auberge de la Poste will close its doors. The property will be sold and extensively renovated. After more than two centuries, this house is preparing for a new chapter.

We look forward to welcoming you during this last autumn and winter season to share more wonderful moments together.

The inn’s hotel operation will probably come to an end. The restaurant will be completely redesigned and renovated, with plans for an upscale dining experience.

Chalet de la Bergère will stay open.

The two rooms in Chalet de la Bergère will remain available to rent after 11 April 2027. Stays will still be possible by reservation.

To our regulars, local residents and visiting guests: thank you for your trust and loyalty. Family meals, reunions, celebrations and encounters have brought this house to life.

The closure will also mark a new professional chapter for Alexandre Pichard, who is open to new opportunities after thirty years in hospitality and catering.

We will treasure the memories of all the moments shared within these walls.
